Amrit was enrolled as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1983 and has been in legal practice in Nairobi for 24 years. She was a partner in the well established lead law firm of Hamilton Harrison & Mathews Advocates where she headed their conveyancing and probate department for several years. She retired from the partnership in 2004 and established her own legal firm. She has extensive conveyancing and property law experience.
